Congratulations to Dr. Mark Lyon!
At the FASP convention last week, Dr. Mark Lyon was named School Psychologist of the Year! BASP would like to congratulate Dr. Lyon on this well-deserved award. Next, Dr. Lyon will be nominated by FASP for the NASP School Psychologist of the Year Award.
It was a great conference, with several BASP members in attendance. The entire executive board was there, and we had opportunities to speak with our peers in DASP (Dade Association of School Psychologists) and PBASP (Palm Beach Association of School Psychologists). Highlights included Dr. Naglieri's Keynote Address, Dr. Burns presentation on RTI, and Dr. Feifer's presentation on Cognitive Neuropsychology and Reading.
It's never to early to start thinking about next year's conference, which will be held in Orlando. We hope to see everyone there!!
