In the most recent edition of the Communique, there was an article written by Matthew Burns and T. Chris Riley-Tillman entitled Response to Intervention and Eligibility Decisions: We need to Wait to Succeed. The author's premise was based upon information that is no longer relevant. Therefore, in an effort to explain the difficulties we (and other counties around Florida) are facing with the new SLD eligibility rules, BASP has written a response to the editors of the Communique.
